Cause of his death was acute nephritis over one and a half months. Other names for Daniel were McGONEGAL, Daniel 9 and McGONIGALL, Daniel.5 General Notes: In the 1871 census Daniel and Elzabeth McGonigall were living at 63 Clyde St Back Land, Anderston, Glasgow. Daniel, aged 36 years worked as a ship painter; his wife, Eliza McGonigall aged 40 years was, like her husband, born in Ireland. Their three children, John, aged 11 years, Daniel aged 6 years, and Eliza who was 1 year old, also lived in the household, as did two lodgers. Daniel married Elizabeth McGOWAN, daughter of Henry McGOWAN and Mary Jane GRIMES, on 2 June 1858 in Ireland.1 (Elizabeth McGOWAN was born about 1830 in Ireland 5 6 10 and died 6 June 1890 at 10.30 am in 63 Clyde Street, Glasgow, Scotland 12.). The cause of her death was asthmatic bronchitis over 2 months. |
