Sclanders and Ann Stewart, sua sponte, and acknowledged they had been irregularly married, produced lines dated Edin^r. 4^th. March 1778 acknowledged other as Husband and Wife, were desired to join hands, and so were declared married persons, were rebuked, exhorted, and so dismissed." ⁶
