When Bridget's son Thomas was born, it was a neighbour called Alice McGill who gave notice of his birth. The birth certificate recorded Bridget as giving birth to her second child, she having one boy already living. Bridget was recorded as aged 28 and having been born in Connaught, Ireland.

When her husband Peter died in 1891, Bridget was already dead. ^{2 3}

Bridget married Peter QUIGLEY, son of John QUIGLEY and Catherine DOCHERTY, on 4 October 1852 in Glasgow, Scotland.¹ (Peter QUIGLEY was born in 1826-1829 in County Monaghan, Ireland ^{2 4} and died 2 February 1891 at 12.00 pm in 24 King Street, Glasgow, Scotland ⁵.). The cause of his death was general debility.
