Other names for Mary were McTAGUE, Mary Ann,4 MONTIGUE, Mary Ann,1 3 5 VALLELY, Mary A,3 VALLELY, Mary Ann 4 5 and VALLERY, Maryann.6 General Notes: In 1891 the census for Dalziel parish in Lanarkshire recorded Maryann Vallery (sic) living with her husband and four children aged from 2 years to 10 years at 53 Cowies Square Craigneuk in the town of Wishaw. She was recorded as 36 years of age and had been born in Glasgow. Mary married Patrick VALLELY, son of Charles VALLELY and Mary CARBERRY, on 18 October 1877 in St Mungo's Chapel, Glasgow, Scotland.1 (Patrick VALLELY was born about 1852 in Ireland 1 3 6 and died on 16 February 1931 in Craigneuk, Lanarkshire, Scotland 1 2.) Marriage Notes: The marriage was celebrated after banns according to the rites and forms of the Roman Catholic Church. The celebrant priest was Raphael Gorga. The witnesses were James McLennan and Bridget Hawkins who made her X mark. |
