Arthur was a 'gas manager'. His address in 1881 was 68 Drumtocher Road Greenock.

In 1891 Arthur George Quigley was recorded aged 38 years in the census. Another Arthur George Quigley aged 8 years was also recorded, both at Glencorse in the county of Edinburgh.

He was a 'work manager' in 1906 according to his death certificate. His age was given as 66 years. 3

  Medical Notes:

Arthur's son, also called Arthur, gave notice of his father's death.


Arthur married Flora McVICAR on 20 July 1881 in Clydeside Place, Greenock Road, Port Glasgow, Renfrewshire, Scotland.1 (Flora McVICAR was born on 18 April 1856 in Tradeston, Glasgow, Scotland 4 and died after 18 July 1906.)


  Marriage Notes:

The marriage was conducted according to the forms of the Church of Scotland, and the officiating minister was John Reid.

The witnesses were Jeanie McVicar and Stuart Quigley.
