Cause of her death was enteric fever and bronchitis.1 Other names for Anne were QUIGLEY, Annie,1 WALKER, Anne 1 and WALKER, Annie.1 General Notes: The 1871 census for Glasgow recorded Annie Walker, a married woman, living with her widowed mother and brother and sisters as a boarder at 12 Wright Street in Springburn. She was 26 years old and had been born in Ireland. She worked as a shirt cutter. Medical Notes: The causes of death were certified by Geo. B. Eadie MB ChB. Anne married Charles WALKER, son of Frederick WALKER and Caroline CLIPTON, on 20 February 1871 in St Vincent's Chapel, Duke, Street, Glasgow, Scotland.1 (Charles WALKER was born about 1841 in USA 1 and died 15 December 1898 at 1.25 pm in 71 Cranston Street, Glasgow, Scotland 1.). The cause of his death was uraemia over 5 days and chronic nephritis.1 Marriage Notes: The marriage took place after banns according to the rites and forms of the Roman Catholic Church. Father Henry Murphy married the couple. The witnesses were David Logue and Margaret Kerry. |
