Cause of his death was pulmonary TB. General Notes: James was a blast furnace worker according to the marriage certificate of his daughter Annie and that of his son Thomas in 1918. Medical Notes: James Vallely had been in hospital for 54 days before he died. James married Catherine PARKER, daughter of Thomas PARKER and Rose Ann TAGGART. (Catherine PARKER was born on 8 February 1869 in Newcastle On Tyne, Northumberland, England 3 5 6, baptised on 11 February 1869 in St Joseph's, Gateshead, County Durham, England 3 and died 29 October 1942 at 7.55 am in 6 Douglas Street, Coatbridge, Lanarkshire, Scotland 5.). The cause of her death was natural causes, probably syncope, myocarditis. |
