Cause of his death was haematemesis, hepatic cirrhosis and myocarditis. General Notes: John Tweedley, a boathirer, was recorded by the 1901 census for Rothesay, Bute, as head of a household living at 76 Montague Street. He had been born in Rothesay and was 42 years old. With him resided his wife Maggie Tweedley aged 43 years and their eight children ranging in age from John who was 17 Years old to Charles who was 1 year old. Medical Notes: Thomas Sharp MD certified the causes of death. John married Margaret BLUE on 29 December 1883 in St Mary's Chapel, Glasgow, Scotland. (Margaret BLUE was born on 10 May 1858 in Rothesay, Bute, Scotland 6 and died 26 February 1933 at 5.55 pm in 16 Mount Pleasant Road, Rothesay, Bute, Scotland.). The cause of her death was valvular disease of heart. Marriage Notes: The marriage was celebrated after banns according to the rites and forms of the Roman Catholic Church. The officiating priest was Donald Carmichael. The witnesses were James McDonald and Mary Ann McDivitt. |
