General Notes: In the 1841 census for Ayrshire, John was recorded living at Back Street, Kilmarnock with (probably) his wife Catrean, two of their children, and five of Catrean's children by a previous marriage. John was a labourer, born in Ireland, and his age was in the 30-34 years age range. 1 John married Catharine DOCHARTY. (Catharine DOCHARTY was born about 1805 in Ayrshire, Scotland 2.) |
