Mary was recorded in her death certificate of 1870 as 'married to John Quigly farm labourer'. She was 45 years old, according to the same document. Both of her parents were deceased.

John Quigly, widower of the deceased, gave notice of Mary's death before Thomas Gentles, registrar, at Falkirk on March 19th 1870 and made his X mark.

Mary married John QUIGLY, son of Peter QUIGGLEY and Catharine CHRISTIE, on 3 August 1851 in St Mary's RC Cathedral, Edinburgh, Scotland.¹ (John QUIGLY was baptised on 29 July 1827 in Fintry, Stirlingshire, Scotland ².)
