Ann Vallely was aged 29 years when recorded by the 1861 census for Dumbarton living with her husband and family in the household of a hawker, Patrick O'Harra. Her children were aged 5 years and 1 year. Ann was Irish born.

In 1864 Ann Vallely died. her death certificate recorded her as married to Daniel Vallely dealer in earthenware. Her recorded age at death was 30 years. Her mother was deceased. ^{2 3}

Daniel Vallely, her widower who had been present where she died, gave notice of her death before the registrar, Wm. Jardine, at Dumbarton on 2 August 1864. ³

Ann married Daniel VALLELY, son of Francis VALLELY and Jean ROSEBOROUGH, on 29 January 1854 in Glasgow, Scotland.¹ (Daniel VALLELY was born about 1832 in County Armagh, Ireland ^{2 7 8 9 10} and died 3 April 1877 at 12 noon in 4 Turner Street, Dennistoun, Glasgow, Scotland ^{10 11 12}.). The cause of his death was delirium tremens over 14 days.³
