Cause of her death was cardiac valvular disease.4 Other names for Mary were FLANAGAN, Mary,6 GOLDIE, Mary 4 7 and McMACHAN, Mary.2 General Notes: Mary McMahon was aged 27 years in 1855 according to the information provided by her first husband, Michael Flanagan, in the birth certificate of their son John. John was Mary's second child. She had a daughter already who was living in 1855. Mary McMahon or Flanagan was recorded as born in County Fermanagh Ireland. Medical Notes: Joseph Quin, a friend, of 18 Monteith Row, was the informant of Mary's death. 4 Mary married Michael FLANAGAN on 10 May 1852 in St Andrew's RC Chapel, Glasgow, Scotland.1 (Michael FLANAGAN was born about 1828 6.) Marriage Notes: Roman Catholic Records Mary next married John GOLDIE, son of James GOLDIE and Ann CURTIS, on 18 October 1867 in St Alphonsus RC Chapel, Calton, Glasgow, Scotland.2 (John GOLDIE was born between 1840 and 1847 in Hill, County Cavan, Ireland 2 3.) Marriage Notes: The marriage of Mary McMachan and John Drumgoun in 1867 was solemnised according to the rites and forms of the Roman Catholic Church by J. Carlin in St Alphonsus Chapel Glasgow. The witnesses were John Mcmachan and Bridget Finnigan, both of whom made their X mark. |
