He and his wife Catherine had married in Airdrie in 1855. 4 Research Notes: BIRTHPLACE Edward married Catherine McCONVILL, daughter of Daniel McCONVIL and Mary VALLELY, on 12 February 1855 in St Margaret's RC Chapel, Airdrie, Lanarkshire, Scotland.1 (Catherine McCONVILL was born about 1830 in County Tyrone, Ireland 3 4.) Marriage Notes: Fr Duncan McNab married this couple. The witnesses were James Vallely and Jane McCartan or Carter. They were married after banns according to the rites and forms of the Roman Catholic Church. |
