Another name for Arthur was O'NEILL, Arthur.1 General Notes: The 1881 census recorded Arthur as a coal miner, living with his wife and brother in law James at 9 Brusher's Row in Bothwell parish Lanarkshire. Arthur married Elizabeth McGUNNIGAL, daughter of William McGUNNIGAL and Mary Ann McNAMEE, on 26 November 1880 in St Mary's Chapel, Paisley, Renfrewshire, Scotland.1 (Elizabeth McGUNNIGAL was born about 1860 in Motherwell, Lanarkshire, Scotland 2.) Marriage Notes: The marriage took place after banns according to the rites and forms of the Roman Catholic Church. John McDonald, RC Clergyman, married the couple. The witnesses were James O'Donnell and Margaret McCann. |
