The 1871 census for Cambusnethan recorded James and Rose Collins living with their three children, Ann, James and Patrick. Rose was recorded as 28 years old.

Rose Collins was recorded as 30 years old by the 1881 census for Cambusnethan. She had been born in Ireland.

Rose Collins was recorded as aged 43 years by the 1891 census for Cambusnethan. Her birthplace was Ireland.

Rose Ann Collins was recorded by the 1901 census living as head of the household at 8 Bell Street Wishaw, Lanarkshire. Her age was recorded as 50 years and her birthplace as Ireland. Five other people lived with her: her children Patrick 28, Michale 17, Thomas 14, Maggie 12, and Daniel 7 years of age.
