General Notes: In 1870 James Collins Furnacefiller was the informant of the birth of his son James at Dalmellington, Ayrshire, and in 1872 of his son Patrick's birth in the same parish, and made his X mark both times. He recorded the marriage of himself and his wife in both as 1866 Kilbirnie. James married Rose KING, daughter of Patrick KING and Rose REILLY, on 27 November 1866 in Kilbirnie, Ayrshire, Scotland.1 (Rose KING was born in 1848 in Ireland 3, baptised on 3 December 1848 in Drumgooland Upper RC parish, County Down, Ireland 10 and died 10 January 1920 at 10.10 am in 3 Almondbank Terrace, Glasgow Road, Wishaw, Lanarkshire, Scotland 5.). The cause of her death was cerebral haemorrhage over 6 months/recurrence of cerebral haemorrhage over 5 days. Marriage Notes: The marriage took place, after banns, according to the rites and forms of the Roman Catholic Church. |
