Jane Lynass died aged 2 years and 8 months, according to her death certificate of 1864. Her parents were both living. 3

More detail was given in Jane's death certificate in a difficult to read squashed handwriting.

S. Millar MB certified the cause of death.

James Lynass, father of the deceased child, who had been present where her death occurred, gave notice of her death before the registrar, Samuel Sloan, at Glasgow on 5 September 1864 and made his X mark. 3
