  General Notes:

The informant of Sarah's birth was Mary Finlayson, Matron of the Lying in Hospital, St Andrew's Square, Glasgow. She was present where the birth took place. She gave notice before William Barclay, registrar, at Glasgow on 14 May 1855.

Sarah was only 1 year old when she died. No father's name is given on her death certificate. She was buried in Dalbeth Cemetery as certified by the undertaker James Lynch.

  Medical Notes:

Sarah was a dispensary patient and the cause of her death was not certified by a doctor.

Her mother, Elizabeth notified the registrar R.C. Hamilton on 19 May 1856 of Sarah's death and made her X mark.
