Helen married Edward QUIGLEY, son of James QUIGLEY and Martha ROSS, on 21 April 1863 in 26 Monteith Row, Calton, Glasgow, Scotland.^{1 2} (Edward QUIGLEY was born about 1844 in Ireland ⁵ and died on 21 July 1882 in Glasgow, Scotland.)

  Marriage Notes:

Edward was a blacksmith's apprentice, an unmarried man of 19 years. Helen was a pirn winder, also 19 years old and unmarried. Their usual residence was given as 21 Main Street Calton, Glasgow.

The marriage took place according to the forms of the Free Church of Scotland. The minister was David Mitchell and the witnesses John Smith and Martha Aulla. ¹
