James married Sarah QUIGLEY, daughter of James QUIGLEY and Martha ROSS, on 11 April 1873 in High Church, Glasgow, Scotland.1 (Sarah QUIGLEY was born about 1846 in Ireland or possibly Glasgow 3 and died in 1883 in Edinburgh Parish, Edinburgh, Scotland 3 4.)
