The 1851 census recorded Isabella living at 6 Charles Street Greenock, Renfrewshire, with her husband a four children. She was born in Midlothian and was 31 years old at the time of the census. ³

Isabella married Bernard QUIGLEY, son of Francis QUIGLEY Farm Labourer and Susan BRESLIN, on 24 December 1842 in Greenock Middle Parish, Renfrewshire, Scotland.¹ (Bernard QUIGLEY was born about 1807 in Ireland and died 14 February 1862 at 4.00 am in 2 Cowgate Street, Greenock, Renfrewshire, Scotland ⁴.). The cause of his death was valvular disease of the heart.
