  General Notes:

The Index of Roman Catholic Baptisms records the surname of the mother of Agnes Vallelly, baptised 1836, as "Jane Rose Curray". The original document has not been checked, but the record from the index has been included here because date and place and configuration seem right.

Jane Valleley was recorded with her husband and family living at Market Lane Springburn by the 1841 census. She was born in Ireland and was recorded as being in the 45-49 years age range. In the 'occupation' column entry she was noted as being 'Independent'.

Her husband Francis was a widower when recorded in the Glasgow City Poorhouse in 1861.

Daniel Vallely married for the second time in 1865. Both of his parents were recorded as deceased. His mother's name was recorded as 'Jean Vallely MS Roseborough deceased'. 6

Jean married Francis VALLELY. (Francis VALLELY was born about 1790 in Armagh, County Armagh, Ireland 4 7 8 9 and died 27 April 1863 at 7.15 am in City Poorhouse, Glasgow, Scotland 10.). The cause of his death was hemiplegia.
