KANE, Mary

Mary married John QUIGLEY, son of John QUIGLEY and Bridget O'DONNELL, on 23 February 1903 in Roman Catholic Chapel, Dumbarton, Dunbartonshire, Scotland.¹ (John QUIGLEY was born on 28 September 1874 in Milton, Glasgow, Scotland ³ and died 27 August 1932 at 6.30 am in Western Infirmary, Glasgow, Scotland ².). The cause of his death was Pyloric carcinoma operation gastrectomy on 18 August 1932.

The marriage was solemnised after banns, according to the forms and ceremonies of the Roman Catholic Church. The priest was Hugh Kelly, and the witnesses were James Kane and Annie McLaughlin.

John Quigley was an unmarried man, recorded as aged 27 years, of 36 Henryshott, Dumbarton. He was a journeyman rivetter.
