Cause of his death was kidney disease.4 Other names for Francis were QUEEN, Francis 4 7 9 and QUIN, Francis.1 General Notes: The 1851 census for Carluke in Lanarkshire recorded Francis Queen aged 16 years living with his family at Hunterfield. He had been born in Ireland and was now working as a miner of ironstone. Medical Notes: Gerald F. Thomas LRCP LRCS Ed. certified the cause of death. Francis married Rose Ann VALLELY, daughter of Edward VALLELY and Mary MONAGHAN, on 2 February 1858 in Catholic Church, Lanark, Lanarkshire, Scotland.1 2 3 (Rose Ann VALLELY was born about 1834 in Ireland 5 8 and died 21 December 1909 at 3.50 pm in 151 Rottenrow, Glasgow, Scotland 8.). The cause of her death was bronchitis and syncope.4 Marriage Notes: The marriage was celebrated after banns according to the rites and forms of the Roman Catholic Church. The priest was John Black, Catholic priest of Lanark. The witnesses were James Quin, who made his X mark, and Mary Kennedy. |
