Duncan married Ann McKENDRICK, daughter of Walter McINTOSH and Anne McKENDRICK, on 4 February 1909 in St Aloysius RC Church, (Springburn), Glasgow, Scotland.1 (Ann McKENDRICK was born 5 February 1879 at 0.30 pm in Mill Knowe, Campbeltown, Argyll, Scotland 3.)


  Marriage Notes:

The marriage was celebrated after banns according to the rites and forms of the Roman Catholic Church. W. J. Crofton Clerk in Orders celebrated. The witnesses were James J. O'Hara, and Flora McQuarrie.

The bridegroom was an unmarried man of 30 years of age who was a tinsmith by occupation. He lived 47 Union Road, Camelon, Falkirk.

The bride was unmarried and aged 29 years. She lived at 12 Scott Street Baillieston. She worked as a domestic servant.

The marriage was registered at Glasgow on 5 February 1909.


Note:This couple were reputed to have had a family of three boys and a girl. One son was a teacher in St Francis School in Falkirk. He regularly visited 'Corney' and Ann Smith at Baillieston each summer. This son had a son who was a doctor.
