She had been present where Agnes died and gave notice before the registrar at Irvine on 4 January 1884, and made her X mark. Sarah married James DONALDSON, son of William DONALDSON and Ann McGRAW, on 23 November 1875 in Irvine parish, Ayrshire, Scotland.1 (James DONALDSON was born about 1835 in Ireland 6 and died 14 April 1888 at 8.25 pm in Baillieston, Lanarkshire, Scotland 4.). The cause of his death was heart disease over 6 months and congestion of the lungs over 5 days. Marriage Notes: The marriage was celebrated after banns according to the rites and forms of the Roman Catholic Church. The priest was Thomas Keane, Catholic Clergyman, Irvine. The witnesses were William Brodie, who made his X mark, and Ellen Brodie. Sarah next married UNKNOWN. (UNKNOWN was born about 1850.) |
