Cause of his death was tubercle of lungs and haemorrhage over 3 days. General Notes: The death certificate of James Lyons in 1896 recorded him as a journeyman stone mason aged 38 years, widower of Janet Bunton (or Buxton? Burton?), and married to Catherine Andrews. His usual residence was 8 St Andrew's Street Kilmarnock. 2 Medical Notes: William Frew MD certified the cause of death. James married Catherine ANDREWS. (Catherine ANDREWS was born about 1860 and died after 16 March 1896.) James next married Janet BUNTON. (Janet BUNTON was born about 1860 and died before 1897 3.)
