General Notes: The 1871 census recorded a 13 year old Patrick living with his parents and brothers and sisters in Carluke, Lanarkshire. He was recorded as a coal miner and his birthplace was Ireland. Patrick married Elizabeth WHISKER, daughter of William WHISKER and Mary CRAIG, on 24 September 1878 in Carluke, Lanarkshire, Scotland.1 2 (Elizabeth WHISKER was born on 17 June 1855 in Shettleston, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland 4 8 and died between 1881 and 1906.) Marriage Notes: The marriage was celebrated after banns according to the rites and forms of the Roman Catholic Church. The celebrant priest was Mortimer Cassin, and the witnesses were Joseph Dixon and Mary Ann Dixon. Patrick next married Mary Ann CAMPBELL in 1890.3 (Mary Ann CAMPBELL was born about 1865.) Patrick next married Sarah Ann HOTCHKISS in 1904.3 (Sarah Ann HOTCHKISS was born about 1865.) |
