GEORGE, Agnes
Cause of her death was chronic bronchitis over 35 days, having been confined to bed. Other names for Agnes were CURRIE, Agnes 4 and GEORGE, Agenss.2 General Notes: Agenss George (sic) was recorded by the 1841 census for Monkton and Prestwick. She lived with her parents and siblings, nine children in all ranging in age from early 20s to age 2 years. She had been born in Ayrshire and was recorded as being in the 15 to 19 years age group. Medical Notes: J. Borland MD certified the cause of death. Agnes married James CURRIE, son of John CURRIE and Margaret RAE, on 25 February 1853 in Monkton & Prestwick, Ayrshire, Scotland.1 (James CURRIE was born on 22 July 1801 in Rerrick, Kirkcudbrightshire, Scotland 5 and died before 24 December 1879.) |
