Cause of his death was bruising and extensive effusions of blood about chest over 10 days. Other names for Edward were LENNIS, Edward, LINESS, Edward,2 LINNS, Edward 4 and LYONS, Edward. General Notes: In 1881 the census recorded Edward Liness as the head of a household in Dalgliesh Street, Ferry Port on Craig, Fife. The household consisted of Edward and his wife, five of their children, and two grandchildren. Edward was recorded as aged 55 years and born in Ireland. He worked as a general labourer. Medical Notes: A. Veitch MB certified the cause of death. Edward married Mary DUNCAN, daughter of William DUNCAN and Barbara GREIG, on 13 November 1848 in Ferry Port On Craig, Fife, Scotland. (Mary DUNCAN was born on 15 February 1831 in Ferry Port On Craig, Fife, Scotland 2, baptised on 23 February 1831 in Ferry Port On Craig, Fife, Scotland and died 18 November 1908 at 11,20 pm in Dalgliesh Street, Ferry Port on Craig, Fife, Scotland 6.). The cause of her death was multiple sarcoma over 4 months. |
