George married Eliza Jane MILLAR in Gortmerron, daughter of Alexander MILLAR and Unknown, on 26 September 1862 in Dungannon, County Tyrone, Ireland.^{1 2} (Eliza Jane MILLAR in Gortmerron was born about 1842 and died before 14 March 1890 ⁴.)

According to their Civil Marriage Record of 1862 George Green's address was Dungannon, and Eliz Jane Miller's was Gortmerron.
