McLARG, Mary 1
Another name for Mary was MAHARG, Mary A. General Notes: Girl triplets were born to Mary in 1909. One of them died that year. Mary's husband's army unit was seconded to Quebec, Canada in 1915. Mary was there for a few years but then all trace of her was lost. Mary married Corporal Neil TWEEDLEY in Canadian Expeditionary Force, son of Neil TWEEDLEY and Helen GUNN, on 27 December 1908 in St Mary's Chapel, Glasgow, Scotland. (Corporal Neil TWEEDLEY in Canadian Expeditionary Force was born on 2 December 1881 in Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland 1 and died on 17 September 1916 in France 2.) Marriage Notes: The marriage was celebrated according to the rites and forms of the Roman Catholic Church by Patrick J. Diamond of St Mary's RC Church 89 Abercrombie Street Glasgow. The witnesses were Daniel F. Crossan and Mary Wilson. |
