In the birth certificate of her daughter, Ann, in 1855, Ann McLennan was recorded as aged 24 years and had been born in Edinburgh. Her daughter was her second child, the first, a boy, having died before the registration of 1855 was made. ¹

Annie married William TWEEDLEY, son of Charles TWEEDLEY and Jane MASON, on 10 December 1852 in Glasgow, Scotland.¹ (William TWEEDLEY was born about 1830 in County Derry, Ireland ¹ and died 4 April 1880 at 4.45 pm in 51 Young Street, Calton, Glasgow, Scotland.). The cause of his death was chronic bronchitis.

The date 15 August 1852 was recorded and was possibly the banns of this marriage. The date 10 December 1852 was given to the registrar by William Tweedlie himself when registering the birth of his daughter Ann. ¹
