   Another name for Thomas was NAIRN, Thomas in Dellichapple.¹

Thomas Nairn sold the barony of Cromdale to John Grant 5th Laird of Freuchie in 1609:

"...the Laird of Freuchie, in the year 1609, added largely to his already extensive possessions by the acquisition of
the lands of Abernethy from the Earl of Murray. He also acquired the lands of Cromdale from Thomas Nairn, commonly called Baron of Cromdale, and shortly afterwaixls obtained from the Crown an erection of these lands,
along with those of Inverallan and others, into the Barony of Cromdale"
