Elizabeth married Alexander ABERNETHY of Lessendrum, son of Alexander ABERNETHY 6th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy and Alison KEITH, 7 November 1589(contract).1 (Alexander ABERNETHY of Lessendrum was born about 1554 and died on 10 April 1603 1.)


  Marriage Notes:

"Alexander, second son, styled of Lessindrum, and afterwards of Wester Saltoun. He witnessed a charter of his nephew John, Lord Saltoun, 29 August 1598. He died 10 April 1603, having married (contract 7 November 1589) Elizabeth, second daughter of Sir James Crichton of Frendraught. He had been contracted, while very young, to Christian, daughter of George Barclay of that Ilk, 31 October 1586."
