Catherine next married Sir John KAYE of Woodsome, Baronet on 12 February 1660.1 (Sir John KAYE of Woodsome, Baronet was born on 15 August 1616 2 and died on 23 July 1662 1 2.)

"He (John Kaye) married Margaret Moseley, daughter of Thomas Moseley, on 27 April 1637 and the couple had one son:

Sir John Kaye (c.1641-1706)

He later married Elizabeth Leigh, daughter of Sir Ferdinando Leigh, in 1649 and then widow Catherine St. Quintin (c.1607-1700), daughter of Sir William St. Quintin, in 1660. He had a further nine children with his second wife, although all died with issue.

The title of first Baronet of Woodesham was bestowed upon him in 1641/42 by King Charles I as a reward for his allegiance. During the subsequent English Civil War, Kaye mustered 700 men for the Battle of Naseby in June 1645."

York, who had already been three times married .... She died 6 August 1700. The Earl had issue by his first wife only"
