Patrick married Margaret FRASER, daughter of Hugh FRASER 4th of Guisachan and Katherine MACKENZIE.1 2 (Margaret FRASER was born about 1598 and died on 20 December 1681 3.)


  Marriage Notes:

"Patrick Grant of Glenmoriston. During his father's lifetime he frequently appears as a witness to Grant documents from 1605 onwards, under the designations of apparent of Glenmoriston, and eldest lawful son of John Grant of Glenmoriston. He obtained service to his father in the lands of Culcabock, etc., on 31st March 1637. He took part with the Laird of Freuchie in 1640 in giving assurances for James Grant of Carron, the Strathspey freebooter. He married Margaret Fraser, said to be a daughter of Fraser of Culbockie. He died about 1643."
