Isobel married John FORBES 3rd of Knapernay, son of William FORBES 2nd of Knapernay and Jean JOHNSTON. (John FORBES 3rd of Knapernay was born about 1630.)

  Marriage Notes:

"John, 3rd of Knappernay, married Isobel, daughter of Seton of Mounie, and had two sons :

(1) William, litster in Aberdeen, married Bathia, daughter of Johnston of Batchers, and had a daughter, Catherine, married in 1720 to John Barber, a soldier of Kirk's Regiment. William Forbes died in 1720.

(2) John, pewterer in Edinburgh, married a daughter of Baules, merchant there.

John, 3rd of Knappernay, sold his estate to Thomas of Waterton, who sold it in 1760 (see Note below) to John, second son of Alexander Forbes of Foveran."
