GORDON, William of Kirkhill, Burgess of Aberdeen

In a legal statement of 1703, a Birth Brief, published by the Spalding Club, William Kirkhill appeared as a witness:
"Att Aberdeen, the twenty daye of February, one thousand seven hundereth and three years, in presence of John Gordon, on of the baillies of Aberdeen, compeared, Patrick Gordon of Harlaw. The said day, Adam Gordon of Inverebrie, William Gordon of Kirkhill, John Gordon, and John Forbes, burgessis of the said burgh, compeared judicially, and deponed and declared that..." ¹

William married Isobel DAVIDSON. (Isobel DAVIDSON was born about 1655.)
