The 1901 census recorded Florence Tragheim living with her parents and siblings at 43 Bridge Street, Tranent, in East Lothian. She had been born in Markinch and was 2 years old.

"Good afternoon, I was browsing my great grandmother's maiden name this afternoon and came across your site. She was Florence Muir (nee Tragheim). I found it so interesting to come across many familiar names I had not heard in a long time. I am not sure of the connection but am interested in the family link."

"My gran Florence lived to age 99, 4 months shy of her 100th birthday. She lived with us for many years until she required round the clock hospital care. I knew her well. She was my love .Her son was my grandfather, my moms dad. She lived a full and happy life outside of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. I knew about many of these names as she told many stories. She was a treasure. I miss her dearly. Her sister Emmy (Emily) moved up from Florida in the 80s to live with her. Emmy died in 1988. I also knew her well. Great site and lineage informatiion. Thank you for taking the time to do this and make it available for people to look at their family histories. Sincerely Liz"
