User ID: C122.
Mary married Sir William MURRAY of Tullibardine, son of William MURRAY of Tullibardine, Sheriff of Perth and Margaret GRAY. (Sir William MURRAY of Tullibardine was born about 1438 and died 10 February 1524(1525) 1.)
Marriage Notes:
There is doubt about whether William Murray and Mary Keith were husband and wife. The Scots Peerage, for example, does not list it as a marriage.
The website page https://www.thepeerage.com/p2408.htm#i24074 lists Mary Keith as daughter of William Keith and Margaret Erskine, citing as sources:
"[S8] BP1999 volume 1, page 133. See link for full details for this source. Hereinafter cited as. [S8], that is [S8] Mosley, Charles, editor. Burke's Peerage and Baronetage, 106th edition, 2 volumes. Crans, Switzerland: Burke's Peerage (Genealogical Books) Ltd, 1999.

This website also states that:
"She married Sir William Murray of Tullibardine, son of Sir William Murray of Tullibardine and Margaret Gray."
citing only the first source [S8]:
"[S8] BP1999 volume 1, page 133. See link for full details for this source. Hereinafter cited as. [S8], that is Mosley, Charles, editor. Burke's Peerage, Baronetage & Knightage, 107th edition, 3 volumes. Wilmington, Delaware, U.S.A.: Burke's Peerage (Genealogical Books) Ltd, 2003."
It may be that Mary Keith was the wife of William Murray, but according to another genealogical website, Stirnet:
https://www.stirnet.com/genie/data/british/mm4fz/murray02.php
another contender is Catherine Gray, daughter of Andrew, 1st Lord Gray, though neither of these families' records shows such a marriage.
Therefore the marriage between William Murray and Mary Keith should be treated with caution as being somewhat unsourced. 1 2 3
