Jean married Sir Francis GRANT of Cullen, Baronet of Monymusk, Senator of the College of Justice, son of Archibald GRANT younger, of Ballintomb, ancestor of Moneymusk and Christian NAIRN, on 15 March 1694 in Edinburgh parish, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.1 (Sir Francis GRANT of Cullen, Baronet of Monymusk, Senator of the College of Justice was born about 1658 5 and died by 12 May 1726 6.)

He marr. (1) Jean Colston, and had issue Christian, bapt. 24th June 1673; Jean, born 12th Nov. 1674 (marr. 15th March 1694, Sir Francis Grant, Lord Cullen) : (2) at Holyrood House, 20th Sept. 1677, Sarah Lawson, who died Nov. 1693, and was buried in Greyfriars.
