  General Notes:

In volume 2 of House of Gordon, Bulloch comments on the genealogical confusion among different Thomas Gordons. Here he is referring to Thomas, son of Harry Gordon of Dilspro, in the section on James Gordon of Lesmoir:

"This Thomas is extremely difficult to follow, for he is apt to be mixed up with Thomas of Grandholm, who belonged to the Abergeldie family (House of Gordon, i., 81); Thomas of Brodland, who founded the Buthlaw family; and Thomas of Govil, who was the son of John of Bogs, sheriff-depute of Aberdeen."

from House of Gordon (vol 2) 2

Thomas married Daughter GORDON, daughter of John GORDON 4th of Pitlurg and Nicola KINNAIRD.1 (Daughter GORDON was born about 1615.)

  Marriage Notes:

".... he begat a daughter married to Thomas Gordon son to John of Bagos sherriff Deput of Aberdeen."
