Gratney married Christian DE BRUS, daughter of Sir Robert DE BRUS 6th Lord of Annandale, Earl of Carrick jure uxoris and Marjorie 3rd Countess of Carrick.1 2 (Christian DE BRUS was born about 1278 and died in 1357 1 2.) Marriage Notes: "Christina, married, first, to Gratney, Earl of Mar, and secondly, to Christopher de Seton. She is described as widow of the latter on 15 March 1306-7, when she receives threepence a day for her expenses, and a mark yearly for her dress during her imprisonment, she having been taken captive along with her sister Mary. She was still a prisoner in 1314. After her release she married, thirdly, Sir Andrew Moray of Bothwell" |
