  • Died: 25 April 1762, Paris, France 3

  General Notes:

(in 1724)

"Though George Innes was still at his parents' home at Balnacraig he continued to play some part in training boys for the priesthood. He was preparing one boy for Scots College Paris at his parents' house, and keeping contact with one or two others whenever possible, and reporting to Paris as to their suitability. His views carried weight with Charles Whytford, the College principal, who ideally would have liked to have him on the staff there, to succeed his uncle Thomas as Prefect of Studies."
