Dame Jane Abernethie, wife of Sir George Gordon of Gight, renounced her rights to the lands of Cuikbirnes and pendicle thereof called Tillibrek, in the parish of Logie Buchan, which had been conveyed by her husband to George Gordon of Nethermuir, and also her rights to the lands of Mean and others in the parish of Belhelvie, which had been conveyed in warrandice of the lands first mentioned (Littlejohn's Aberdeenshire Sheriff Court, ii., 314)."

2. Executed: a commision, 11 August 1639, Auchleuchries, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. 1 "1639, Aug. 11

George Gordon of Nethermuir as Sheriff Depute executed at Auchleuchries a commission, whereby Marjorie Gordon, wife of James Ogilvie of Auchleuchries, renounced her rights to the Mains of Auchleuchries in favour of her son-in-law, John Gordon, then of Auchleuchries (Ibid. ii., 478)."


George married Marjory BUCHAN, daughter of Alexander BUCHAN 7th of Auchmacoy and Agnes FRASER.1 (Marjory BUCHAN was born about 1605.)
