He was the eldest son of Duncan I. by his wife, a cousin of Malcolm married Ingibjorg about 1068 in Dunfermline, Fife, Scotland.1 (Ingibjorg was born about 1030.) Marriage Notes: "Malcolm Ceannmor married, secondly, at Dunfermline 1068-9, Margaret (St. Margaret of Scotland), daughter of Edward Aetheling." Malcolm next married Margaret Queen of Scots, daughter of Edward Aetheling 'the Exile', of the House of Wessex and Unknown, about 1068 in Dunfermline, Fife, Scotland.1 (Margaret Queen of Scots was born about 1045 in Hungary and died on 16 November 1093 in Edinburgh Castle, Scotland 1.)
