Isobel(2) married James SCRIMGEOUR of Dudhope, Constable of Dundee, son of Sir James SCRIMGEOUR of Dudhope, Constable of Dundee and Margaret MAITLAND, about 27 April 1495.1 (James SCRIMGEOUR of Dudhope, Constable of Dundee was born about 1448 and died about 1503 1.) Marriage Notes: He (James Scrimgeour) had a charter on 27 April 1495 from Andrew, Lord Gray, of the third part of the lands of Dudhope, co. Forfar, to himself and the heirs-male of his 'apparent spouse' Isobel Gray, and on 27 April the same year another grant of the customs of 'colt and coltsilver' levied at the 'first faire' of Dundee. He died about 1503. He married Isobel, daughter of Andrew, Lord Gray; she survived him, married, secondly, Sir Adam Crichton of Ruthven, and thirdly, Sir John Campbell of Lundy" Isobel(2) next married Sir Adam CRICHTON 2nd of Ruthven, son of James CRICHTON of Ruthven, Provost of Edinburgh and Unknown, after 1503.1 (Sir Adam CRICHTON 2nd of Ruthven was born about 1455 and died before 18 November 1516 1 3.) Marriage Notes: "Isobel, daughter of Andrew, Lord Gray .... married, secondly, Sir Adam Crichton of Ruthven ...." Isobel(2) next married John CAMPBELL of Lundy, son of Thomas CAMPBELL and Unknown.1 (John CAMPBELL of Lundy was born about 1489.) Marriage Notes: He (James Scrimgeour) married Isobel, daughter of Andrew, Lord Gray; she survived him, married, secondly, Sir Adam Crichton of Ruthven, and thirdly, Sir John Campbell of Lundy" |
