Margaret married Sir Wiliam CRANSTOUN of that Ilk by 1508. (Sir Wiliam CRANSTOUN of that Ilk was born about 1478 and died on 5 August 1515.)

  Marriage Notes:

"William de Cranstoun had a sasine in 1500, also a sasine in favour of William Cranstoun of that Ilk, Knight, lawful and nearest heir of his father, John Cranstoun of that Ilk, of certain annualrents from tenements on the north side of the ' Causegate ' and in the ' Valcargate ' of the burgh of Jedburgh, on 30 September 1508. He had a charter from James Douglas, Sheriff of Teviotdale, of the lands of Stobs, etc., dated 30 October 1512. In 1508 he is described as thirty years old and married. His wife was Margaret Hume, who survived him, and who in 1522 was wife of James Murray of Falahill."
