"Thomas Bannatyne, M.A. (Edinburgh, 7th Aug. 1594); min. of Castleton in 1607 ; trans, to North Berwick 25th Nov. 1610; trans, and adm. after 27th June 1621 ; died before Aug. 1639. He marr. (pro. 20th March 1614) Margaret Cockburn (who survived him, and marr. secondly, Andrew Lauder, at Melving Mill), and had issue - William, served heir 17th Jan. 1649 ; Captain John of Staneflat, born 6th Feb. 1616; Alexander. - [Inq.
